Rev. John Bain, is our settled senior minister since May 15, 2025. He was born and raised in North Central Montana. He holds degrees from the University of Montana, Bushnell University (NCC) and Brite Divinity School at TCU. He has served congregations in Montana, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Nevada and Oklahoma. He and his spouse Ronni met at Brite Divinity School and have been married for 36 years. They are the proud parents of three adult children. John enjoys reading, walking and hiking, music and writing. He is thrilled to be at SHCC and this part of the movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.
